A Truly Amazing R/C Airplane Demostration

Whether your into R/C planes or not, this is truly an highly impressive demonstration. I have never owned one, but each time I watch this I find myself more and interested in checking into a new hobby that me and my kid can do together. Of course, I'm sure it took years of crashing the hell out of a lot of planes before this guy could do any of these tricks.

Munich / Film Review

*****

Munich Is A Damn Fine Historical-Based Film

What a damn fine film. This is the story of Israel; the Palestinians; and honor and civility. It is about fighting for a home. Both for Jews and Muslims. With exceptional acting by all actors involved; Munich gives you a sense of truly sharing in the thoughts, feelings and sacrifices made.

It helps to also illustrate to the general public of the West what has always been the initial root of all the terrorism and fighting of the Middle-East. this is a Must-Have DVD. I suggest that to truly appreciate the quality of the film and to more greatly appreciate the subject matter, you should start with the following Wikipedia article;

Sublime -A Tribute to Bradley James Nowell

The band Sublime was loved by just about everyone that ever heard their music. Something about the band members; their sound and their lyrics; represents the era of the nineties. This tribute video was made by an individual at home, but is great. One of my favorite songs in life so far.

This is the crazy shit that other people do in this world. Do people automatically loose touch with reality when money is concerned? I would have loved to have been listening in on this phone conversation.

DiddleBug For PalmOS Review

*****
Excellent freeware for Palm PDA's

What is DiddleBug?

DiddleBug is an application for the Palm family of handheld computers. It is similar to a yellow-sticky note in that it allows you to scribble information onto your Palm device using digital ink. You can set alarms for each note from a pop-up list, and DiddleBug will not let you forget your reminder. In addition, DiddleBug has IntelliBoogerTM extensions that allow you to transfer information from within DiddleBug to other applications, such as the built-in ToDo and DateBook apps.

DiddleBug is based on the Diddle sketching engine, and has similar functionality to BugMe!, which explains the DiddleBug name. Users of Diddle will find the interface familiar, with the same menu shortcuts and the same hideable titlebar. DiddleBug is free to use and licensed under the GNU General Public License.

This is a most excellent little piece of software; and it is completely free. I have been using it for over a week, and can say that I fell in love with it immediately. It does just what I need it to do. I can jot down phone numbers and various other info; that most my life; has accumulated in my pockets and stuck to things as scraps of paper. It functions as a more modern and practical Post-It note. But these Post-It's go where you go and are organized in infinite ways. Some of the many useful details include the ability to set reminders for repeated tasks. whether the happen once an hour; once a day, week or year. Repetitive reminders can be set and locked.

You can utilize plug-ins that will transfer phone numbers and such to other software. This software picks up where the Palm factory software leaves off. All the additional functionality you wished you had.

It's free; it's easy; it's powerful and it is well worth having, so by all means go and get it.
