Trailfire - A Powerful, Yet Simple Browsing Tool / Review

****

Trailfire

This is a seriously cool idea. There is an abundance of information and learning material spread across the web in vast quantities; instead of compiling it all together or clip-boarding it, you can just leave a trail.

For instance, I have been reading up on the PHP scripting language lately; so I have been following this trail Learning PHP created by another user on the topic. He has already read through many websites and left trailmarks on the sites and pages he felt were the best he had found. I can follow this trail he created and go from introductory to advanced. I was very, very impressed with how the whole process worked. Of course, this guy already knew what he was talking about and thus created a very high quality trail related to the subject.

But you can use Trailfire for anything. You can plan your next trip with it, segmenting it to the itinerary of your trip. you'll be seeing a lot of links to trails I create from now on. I'll use this great online tool to help any of my neebie friends find introduction material to various subjects.
