Damn. Celebrity death is on a roll this week. First Walter Cronkite; then Farrah Fawcett and Micheal Jackson. These are three prominent personalities from my childhood. Farrah in her prime during the seventies became the preeminent icon of every pubescent boys fantasies. The poster she made was considered the most racy thing anyone had done to that point. It was because she was all nipple-ly – her trade mark actually. Her other trade marks were her phenomenal smile; stunning legs; and sweet feminine voice. Its tragic how things turned out for her later in life – god bless her; really.
Here is the rare footage I remember from my childhood when I was only 5 yrs. old. A brief appearance on the Partridge family show. She has all her trade marks in full bloom even on 1970 television; smile; legs; voice; and of course, nipples
I may be 43 yrs. old now – but tonight i will wait till the time my parents would go to sleep – I will block my bedroom door – I will whip out Farrah's poster and revisit my early pubescent fantasies in honorable memory to Farrah.
